I make things with my hands because my day job doesn't let me. Painter, hobby seamstress, overly-attached plant parent, amateur pianist, and person who still refers to the internet as "the information superhighway" unironically.
This site exists because I miss when personal websites were personal — built to be looked at by a handful of people who actually cared, not optimized for anybody. So: welcome to my little slice of it.
🌟 fun facts about me
- I have killed more basil plants than I can count before finally keeping one alive past July.
- I learned to sew because I refused to pay $40 for a skirt I could "definitely just make." I could not, in fact, definitely just make it. I make it now, though.
- I've been playing piano since I was seven and I still can't sight-read past two sharps without wincing.
- My film camera is older than some of my friendships.
- I own a truly unreasonable number of paintbrushes for how few of them I clean properly.
- I talk to my tomato plants. They haven't talked back yet, but I remain hopeful.
- I will absolutely make you a mixtape if you ask. It will have a theme. The theme will not be explained.
